The document management experts of SI Software Innovation GmbH (SI GmbH) have been offering their customers comprehensive solutions for incoming mail processing, record capture, archive consolidation, central archiving within or outside of the company (DMS outsourcing), print optimization and workflow since 1996.
The Large Documents Management System (LDMS), a core component of the portfolio, is a modern, cross-industry document management solution for companies of all sizes. LDMS is based on state-of-the-art mainframe technology (zServer) from IBM. This highly scalable, auditable and extremely reliable solution is perfectly suited for getting ever-increasing data volumes and accelerating business processes in line with legal regulations, compliance requirements and corporate governance policies.
The customers of SI Software Innovation GmbH include renowned IT service providers for banks and insurance agencies, industrial, trade and service companies, healthcare organizations, public administration authorities as well as church and social institutions. The focus rests on the financial services industry. All in all, about 75,000 employees working in over 1,000 companies use LDMS to access their central archive.
In February 2008, SI GmbH became a wholly owned subsidiary of Beta Systems Software AG, adding another member to the globally active Beta Systems Group. LDMS complements the portfolio of the parent company, while SI GmbH’s customers can now also take advantage of Beta solutions covering the areas of Enterprise Content Management (ECM), Identity Management (IDM) and Data Center Infrastructure (DCI). SI GmbH is jointly run by SI managing director of many years, Richard Racs, and Harald Podzuweit, head of DCI and IDM business units at Beta Systems.
